Like many people my age I am honor obligation more than I am doing what I please. To behave in a honorable manner sometimes negates the desires of the heart. This is why an older book "The moon and the six pence" by Maugm appeals to me so much

More often than not the two are intertwined in my psyche. I am most at peace when desires are not at war with obligations.
