hers what i did when i turned 18, go to a bank and ask for a secured credit card, credit unions have these also, it's a credit card you cannot be turned down for and you use your savings account as collateral.

You must obtain a line of credit from a bank, a credit card company, a credit union. The most important thing is to pay consistently on the line of credit. Never make a payment late and always try to pay off the balances of the credit card every month. If you are not able to pay off the balance, keep the amount borrowed on your credit card low.
Never use more than the limit on your credit card.
Dont get more than 1 credit card.

I'm not sure how old you are, but one way that I established credit was having my mom put my name on one of her credit cards. So as she bought and paid for things on time I would get credit for that. If your parents would be willing and trust you, then its the easiest way to establish credit without actually doing anything. Another way would be getting a card for any popular store you shop at often.

The usual way to establish credit is to get a person WITH
good credit to cosign for You. Then pay this off in a timely manner,THEN You may be able to get credit on Your own.
