Duct tape. No really you discipline them, it depends on there age. Ignore there whiny pleas and tell them they need to ask for things w/out whining.

omg, you just brought back some serious flashbacks. When my daughter was little she would whine all of the time. It about drove me batty. But she grew out of it. How did I handle it? I wonder myself.

I am not a child type person but if they are whiny they are usually hungry, sleepy or ill.

Well he probably needs a nap, and a nutritious meal (low blood sugar or something). I don't think kids are naturally badly behaved.

If a child is whining they might really just be needing attention.. if this is bothering you..don't give in tho the whining...you need to redirect their attention to something else.
