Actually, Helium is the *most* likely: it's a noble gas, remember?

Look at your chemical tables and see which ones have high affinities for other elements. The one most likely to bond is the least likley to be found in elemental form.

Just to check: does the book's definition of "elemental form" include diatomic hydrogen? If so, you're looking for the element least likely to be found in a pure form (element only, rather than bonded with a *different* element).

1. carbon is the most common being in all living organisms
2. followed by hydrogen, also found in living organisms
3. sodium and sulphur are found in living organisms but in trace amounts.
4. helium is not... and makes up less than 1% of normal air.

Hydogen & helium are found in trace amounts in the atmosphere.
Sulfur is found pure in "veins" in the earth.
Carbon= coal & diamonds

Yes. Radon is a noble gas, and noble gases are known for their inert natures. Radon is radioactive, however, and will decay in a short amount of time.
