...uh, you might have mistaken the microwave for an actual oven; in the early 1970's, actress Karen Black portrayed four different characters in an ABC Movie of the Week, entitled "Trilogy of Terror", an anthology of horror stories. In the third story, Karen Black was terrorized by an African Zumi Doll, inadvertantly brought back to life, when she broke a little gold chain around it's waist; in the end, she shoved the little ******* in the oven, and presumidably burns it up; however, upon opening the oven, the doll attacks her. The final scene of the film has the woman talking on the phone with her Mom, telling her that everything was going to be alright, and that she should come on over. A close-up on her character's face revealed that the Zumi doll had in fact possessed her, as evident by the woman's now-jagged teeth, resembling those of the doll.

Now, a few years ago, the USA network DID produce a sequel, called "Trilogy of Terror II", with the third part of the film presumedly a virtual remake of the original Zumi doll tale, only modernized, and starring Lysette Anthony (who also played three or four parts in the whole film). It's possible that the remake substituted a microwave for the oven......

However, the original telling of the tale in "Trilogy of
Terror" is by far the most horrific, and I couldn't imagine the sequel even coming close to being the same!!!

Oblong box is the coffin metaphorically. Well, there are naive and innocent live dolls, that suffer, and really good, masculine self-sacrificing men that suffer too. Symbiosis is almost always a mess up and who is to blame? Compromises are to blame, and unjust favoritism to lost cases is to blame for both. We all lost small Heavens and Never Lived in Ideal Paradises with our then beloved one, because she went in another relationship, because we went... And so on. Happy New Year to "our" Saundi, that impressed me back then with her writing and the race she was running against herself, to produce more and more and more. "Wishing" is like the chances we lost, sometimes it is not bestowed appropriately.

I don't know. That is seriously freaky, though. Nothing I'd ever watch, sorry.
