You could not be more wrong.
Freedom is NOT free. It comes at the cost of eternal vigilance, and failing that, the blood of patriots.

The last war for are freedom is the war that we are in now. We maybe going at it a little sideways; How ever that does not change the fact that some Muslims don't want Americans to breath any longer. If you watch some of the tapes you will see them doing the same thing Hitler did in WWII! Look back on Sept. 11th and remember what they did to us. I may not understand what all is going on in Iraq, I do know this, Clinton bombed Hussein and Bush killed him. We are at war with people who are in bed with the devil and are fearless as the Japan was during WWII. We are a free nation. Now we are just a cautious nation. There will be a time to stand up and say enough is enough. Lets wait until our boys come home first!!

Freedom is not free. The last war for our freedom is still being fought; it is the War on Terror. Right now, we are winning that war, but it could go the other way real fast if folks here at home and those people in Washington decide to go to sleep at the wheel.
"Those who expect to reap the blessings of freedom must, like men, undergo the fatigue of supporting it." -- Thomas Paine: The American Crisis, No. 4, 1777
"The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing." -- Edmund Burke
"They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety." -- Benjamin Franklin, Historical Review of Pennsylvania (1759)
"In the beginning of a change the patriot is a scarce man, and brave, and hated and scorned. When his cause succeeds, the timid join him, for then it costs nothing to be a patriot." -- Mark Twain

Wrong. The American Civil War was most definitely a war for many of our freedoms, if not directly. Had the South won, the United States would probably not have survived to this day, and our freedoms would have been lost.
World War II was probably the last one, since the proxy wars of the Cold War era were more political moves than actual fights for our freedom. It doesn't mean it will always be the last one though.
And no, freedom is not free. Even if you think wars for freedom ended with the American Revolution, we paid for our freedom with the blood of our ancestors. We continue to pay for it economically, with the tax money that's been keeping our government afloat since its inception, and socially, with our refusal to back down to forces both within and without that seek to take our freedom. We must continue to fight oppression in all its forms if we wish to remain free.

Anyone who thinks freedom is free is fooling themselves. Freedom is the most taken advantage of thing in existence except for the few who fight to defend it so that others may enjoy the benefits. Every generation must make a stand for the preservation of freedom.
The price for freedom always has been and always will be blood, and that payment is never fully paid.

I do not agree. Last physical battle was WWII. We fight for our freedom everyday but bone heads who try and take our freedoms away. The cost of freedom is very high, but is worth it at even twice the price.

Freedom is unrestrained (free). But not without cost (not free).
We only fight a war against freedom when those we are fighting would take away our freedom. The US fought against the British for our freedom and won. The Confederacy fought against the Union for their freedom, and they lost. England fought against the Nazis for more than freedom, for their very survival, and with US assistance they won.
Terrorists are not a threat to our freedom. Terrorists are a threat to our safety, and our lives, and our families. But we are not fighting a war for freedom against terrorists.
At most, we are fighting a war for freedom against our own governments, who would take away those freedoms in the name of making us safer. But whether it is true safety, or just the false illusion of safety, is a crucial issue.
As is whether we are choosing to suppress our own freedoms, or whether they are being taken from us by force.
