My violin teacher used to claim that learning violin is the toughest of all... coz it has no frets. In that sense, the cello must be difficult too...more so coz its too huge to handle. One really needs to be musically inclined to judge the positioning fo the fingers on both. As far as flute is concerned, it atleast has some fixed no.of holes. But then again, its easier said than done. But both violing and the flute sound horrendous when played unharmoniously... so if we come to talk abt the neighbours, its really difficult for them..be it violin or flute !!!

Both flute and violin learn off the treble clef, in order a singer, you should not have any disorders in any respect studying the notes. I have performed the flute for over fifteen years. I located it particularly handy to choose up and play. As lengthy as it is tuned cautiously, it is very handy to stick in song and hit the notes cleanly. I began gambling the violin approximately a yr in the past. It's nowhere close as handy because the flute for being equipped to cleanly play all of the notes. With the violin, you ought to gain knowledge of precisely how some distance aside your hands must be to make the proper notes. There's no reference facets, simply muscle reminiscence. I might truthfully say the violin is a greatly extra elaborate device to play. As for fee, there are low-cost devices and excellent devices of any style. If you're in any respect uncertain approximately whether or not you wish to pursue this, I quite do endorse renting. I realize you do not quite wish to try this, although. Is a used device a likelihood? Most band academics and device earnings areas can hook you up with a used device. Decent devices may also be located on e-Bay, however I might ask for the aid of any individual who is aware of approximately the devices. I began out on a low-finish pupil violin. It belonged to a buddy who'd paid round $eighty for it. It used to be 3 years historical earlier than I received it, however I nonetheless received a well yr out of it. With a brand new bridge and new strings, it would be a good device once more. I'd truthfully endorse one adore it for a newbie, as I received a well tone, however it wasn't high priced. You can continuously pass up from there, and by way of upgrading the strings and bow, even a low-cost device may also be expanded. Many individuals let you know to not opt for one like that, however for the primary device, I see no must spend extra, until you are obviously optimistic you can keep it up. With the flute, I jumped proper into it. I paid $500 for my first flute, used. I have noticeable them a lot less expensive on e-bay. I'd endorse Gemeinhardt first, even though Selmer, Yamaha, and Armstrong are all very high-quality. Bundy is not as high-quality, however it is a well position to start. I've in view that upgraded each devices, now that I'm severe approximately training and gambling. You can spend up to you wish to on an device, however I endorse attempting it earlier than you quite make investments.

I play the flute and my sister plays the violin. The Flute takes about two to three months to get used to the breathing thing. Because at first you get light headed. But then you get used to it. And I'm not so sure about the violin I think its alittle easier but thats just me.

I played the flute for years. Loved it. If you can blow on your hot food, you can play the flute. I don't think any instrument is easy, per say. But the flute isn't that hard.
My mom tried to pick up the violin. She is very musicly inclined. It wasn't easy.
I think the one you want to learn to play the most, will make it easier to actually learn. The heart is in it. Have fun, which ever you decide.

The flute is one of the hardest instruments in the band or orchestra to play. Only 30% of the air you blow out goes into actually making the sound. It's worth it, though.

I took up the violin after 7 years with the piano. Let me just tell you the noise that I produced sounded like a wounded cat. Good luck! jajaja Maybe I'm just not that musical.
