Why do people try to say that like an insult? Even if someone did look like a gorilla, gorillas are beautiful! I would rather look like a gorilla then an ugly racist. Besides we all came form apes remember? Unless you believe in the creation, but then again someone calling other gorillas can not believe in the creation, that would make them Christian. Christianity and racism do not go hand in hand. So puny smalled brained people who say others look like gorillas YOU MUST BELIEVE we came from apes SO WE ALL LOOK LIKE MONKEYS!

I agree with you, it is all so strange to me. A point I would like to make is this. Nothing can be an insult unless you ALLOW it to be one. We have the ability to choose our own behavior and reactions to things. If we do not allow something to be an insult, then it will not be an insult. If we allow it to be one, then it becomes one. We in a way, give up our own self determination by allowing others to have power over us.
With all of that said, everyone has room to be kinder, gentler to each other.
