Absolutely. 3 amazing, superbowl, legendary seasons is all you need compared to Joe Montana's great seasons.

In 2001 Brady served as the backup quarterback to Drew Bledsoe, going 1-for-3 during the season for 6 passing yards. His role changed on September 23, 2001, when the Patriots were playing against their AFC East division rivals, the New York Jets at Foxboro Stadium. During that game, Bledsoe suffered internal bleeding after colliding with Jets linebacker Mo Lewis. New England lost both the game and Bledsoe. Soon after Brady was named the starting quarterback. In his first two games, Brady's quarterback ratings were unspectacular, at 79.6 and 58.7 respectively, in a 44-13 victory over the Indianapolis Colts (in the Colts' last season in the AFC East) and a 30-10 loss to the Miami Dolphins. However, during a mid-season match-up at Indianapolis, Brady passed for a career-high regular season rating of 148.3 in a 38-17 win. Brady helped bring the Patriots to an 11-5 record and into the playoffs. He also passed for his fourth highest single season rating (86.5). Brady went on to win the superbowl in what is now noted as one of the best superbowls of all time.

In 2003 Brady took the Patriots in to the first two rounds of the playoffs, the Patriots defeated the Tennessee Titans and Indianapolis Colts. On February 1, 2004, Brady led the Patriots to a 32-29 victory over the NFC champion Carolina Panthers in Super Bowl XXXVIII and was named Super Bowl MVP for the second time. During the game, Brady set the record for most completions by a QB in the Super Bowl (32). With 1:08 left in the fourth quarter and the score tied at 29, Brady engineered a drive to put the Patriots in position for the game-winning field goal.

During the 2004-2005 season, Brady helped the Patriots set an NFL record with 21 straight wins dating from the previous year. New England's 14-2 record matched that of the 2003-04 season and equaled the best record ever for a defending champion. The Patriots also won the AFC East divisional title for the third time in four years. In the AFC playoffs, Brady led the Patriots to victories over the Indianapolis Colts and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Brady played his best game of the year in Pittsburgh despite requiring IV treatment the previous night when he had a temperature of 103 degrees. Against the NFL's best defensive team, Brady recorded a quarterback passer rating of 130.5, his highest of the season. 2004 also served as Brady's best year statistically; his rating, at 92.6, was a career high. On February 6, 2005, the Brady-led Patriots defeated the Philadelphia Eagles to win Super Bowl XXXIX for their third NFL championship in four years.

It's not just the championships, Brady's career stats are superb. In the regular season he has recorded a 80-25 record as a starter, 37.85 passing attempts per interception, 7-0 in overtime games, 10-1 in dome stadiums, 20-4 vs NFC teams. In the post season he has been even better. NFL record for most consecutive wins in post season with 10, 3217 passing yards, 4 Pro Bowls, 2 Super Bowl MVP awards; but the most important 3 Super Bowl victories.

Its certainly possible, one could argue that already given the SBs, the TD records, multiple MVPs, etc. I love the argument that because he lost a SB somehow makes him a lesser player. Montana was 4-0, but only made it 4 times. So if Brady wins a 4th SB, somehow going 4 for 5 in the SB is a bad thing? At least he made it a 5th time, meanwhile, Montana was sent home packing every season other than those 4 wins. So losing earlier in the playoffs is somehow better than making it to the SB and losing? What a joke. That logic only makes sense when you vote emotionally, and there is enough bitterness evident even among these answers to illustrate that. I am not saying he is better than Montana, thats just too tough to say, but suggesting a single SB loss makes him worse is idiotic, especially if he goes on to win a 4th or 5th.

Tom Brady would not be better then Joe Montana. If these two players were playing in there prime at the same time, Tom Brady wouldn't have any Superbowls. They would belong to Joe Montana. If Dan Marino, Boomer Esieson, and John Elway can't beat Joe Montana in the Superbowl, or even out rank him as the all time Greatest Quarterback, then Tom Brady doesn't even have a chance. Joe Montana wasn't called the "Magic Man" for nothing.

Uhh, first let that happen. Then, who cares if he is better or not? It doesn't mean that either of them are the best right now. It is all a matter of opinion. Just like Brady, Joe had an all-star cast of players and coaches on his teams. Just remember, Steve Young took over and won a Super Bowl instantly with the same main cast of players. It is a team sport and neither of them are the best in my opinion. Dan Marino, John Elway, Jim Kelly were all better than Brady. Plus, don't forget about Aikman, Terry Bradshaw, and Favre. Brady is the current God right now, but he couldn't handle any of the above's, jock!

I would say yes, Tom Brady is a great QB and isn't a cocky player. If he wins again which i dont think he will, then he will be one of the best QB's of all time.

Wow...um, we would have to mention it at least...Brady would definitely be on the same page. That is a great question, and almost impossible to answer now.
