Well, I don't understand why it is important for anyone to prove something to you. What does being psychic have to do with astrology/horoscopes? Although yes, there are intuitive astrologers. Anyway, I'm picking up some funky green color with writing on it, and, that technically, it's not a sweatshirt: a cutoff maybe? And just to call you on it, if you know you're psychic, then do tell me what I am wearing right now.

Evidence that can be tested would be nice and eliminate false claims. If you claim it true, then you can back it up with testing. Or do we just take your word for it? Check out the link and get a million dollars for you or a charity.
What would this world be like if there really psychic abillty?
It has been argued that if psychic power existed, to use it would be "a gross and unethical violation of privacy" and "professions that involve deception would be worthless" There wouldn't be any need for undercover work or spies. Every child molester would be identified immediately. No double agent could ever get away with it. Psychics would be in demand for high paying jobs in banks, businesses and government. Most psychics would be very, very rich.... and since psychics are such altruistic persons, giving up their time to help others talk to the deceased or figure out what to do with their lives, they would be winning lotteries right and left and giving part of their winnings to help the needy. We wouldn't need trials of accused persons: psychics could tell us who is guilty and who is not. The polygraph would be a thing of the past. Of course, the operative word here is if. If psychic power existed the world would be very different.
You maybe also using what is called "selective thinking".
Selective thinking is the process whereby one selects out favorable evidence for remembrance and focus, while ignoring unfavorable evidence for a belief. This kind of thinking is the basis for most beliefs in the psychic powers of so-called mind readers and mediums. It is also the basis for many, if not most, occult and pseudoscientific beliefs.
No one has ever provided proof of any psychic or other paranormal ability under controlled conditions. Really.
Prove that it works first, then make theories on how.
Question everything.

I would say red, but that was just right off the top of my head as soon as I saw your Avatar. I don't really believe in psychic stuff, but it's a good guess, anyways.

That is a trick question...you are not wearing a sweatshirt right now. However, if you were wearing one it would be your favorite navy blue one.
