Are there any portions of Route 66 being used today, even in the age of the interstate highway system?

Yes my parents live on Rt. 66 near Joplin MO. It is a very pretty part of the road in the spring and summer. The trees make a canopy over the road as it weaves back and forth.

Yes!
You should be able to still travel most of it, although there might be a few dead ends, although the route numbers have changed. "66" Is becoming very popular to travel once again, and many towns proudly display the "Route 66" signs.
I am planning a trip, it is not hard to look up.

There are many towns along the original Rt 66 that wish to attract tourist business and still use sections of the old highway.
