No way. To be charged he'd have to be already removed from office. It would be up to the next president to do it.

Historic example - Nixon resigned before he could be impeached or removed, but Ford did pardon him when he became President.

From what I understand- no. He would not be pardoned, but rather impeached. Impeached and then Cheney (sp?) would be in control of the country. However, the next president could decide to or not to.

No he couldn't. If he was charged with a felony then he would be removed from office if he didn't step down so it would be impossible for him to pardon himself.

No. Because before being charged and convicted in a criminal court, he would need to be impeached and removed from office first.
