My favorite simple mask is plain Milk of Magnesia. It will absorb oil and tighten pores. Just put a thin layer on and let it dry for 10-30 mins. before rinsing off w/ warm water.Plain yogurt makes a good, soothing mask. You can add some ground oatmeal for a little extra exfoliation and honey for a little moisture.

These look promising:

Mashed avocado or banana with a tsp. of honey make a good moisturizing mask.

Or you can crush up 6 plain, uncoated aspirin tablets and mix it w/ a little water to make mask.

Or use one of these variations to make a cleanser or mask:

Mixture: 6 crushed aspirins, mixed with the liquid facial cleanser at hand (I usually use either cetaphil or tersaseptic), and 1-2 drops of tea tree oil.

Mix half a teaspoon of crushed tablets with Queen Helene Mint Julep mask and aloe vera gel.

Held 6 aspirin in my palm, and slowly dripped water onto them until they fizzled and dissolved! Once dissolved, I added 2-3 drops of honey into it and mixed it around with my finger. Applied to my face. Keep it on 15-20 mins.

Mix 6 aspirin tablets with a little aloe to make a mask.

Use about 6 uncoated tablets, witch hazel, tee trea oil, and aloe to make a thin paste.

For toner:
8 ounce bottle of distilled water add four uncoated aspirin
or
mix of 1/2 water, 1/2 witch hazel, 15 aspirin, and 2 drops of tea tree essential oil and 2 drops of rosemary essential oil

I have tried many as I rep for Avon and Beauticontrol.

My all-time favorite has to be the Fango Seaweed Srub/Masque from Beauticontrol, it sells for $35.00

It is a rich mud masque for both face and body , seaweed helps to absord impurities, natural volcanic pumice gently scrubs away impurity and the smell is dreamy.

I also like the Warming Trend green tea masque-it is light and creamy and warms a bit when applied to wet skin. Use it in the shower and it will leave the bathroom smelling incredible. Invigorating. Price $22.50

It depends on what kind of functions you would like to have on your skin.

If you enjoy mixing natural things, I would suggest the yogurt mask in source 1, it's really easy and effective.

If you would like to buy commercial products, you can check source 2 for the reviews on facial mask.
