When you say you can tell your partner absolutely everything and that you share everything with them aswell...does that really mean truely everything? Or...are there somethings you know you just cant share with them? Just something you may think a friend would understand better?

I believe that for a relationship to work, everything, and I mean everything should be brought out into the open. That lets both partners know where they stand and what to expect from the relationship.And I don't know of any better friend than your partner.

I think you share everything, even if it's something bad about them. Then you can work it out with them face to face.

Dude, if you have a friend that you can talk to more openly than your partner, you've got the wrong partner! That's not to say you can't be friends but your partner should be your BEST friend.

There are some things a partner doesn't need to know. Some things (especially from your past) should stay in your past, especially if it's going to start trouble in the present.

It's everything...........trust me, I thought she was nuts when she told me this 8 yrs ago but it is true. I screwed up and didn't tell her something when we were together for about a year and the only thing she said to me when I was bailed out is "Why didn't you tell me?"

I don't live with a partner...but, my best friend of years and years I can TELL IT ALL to...honest. It feels good to know that I have a friend who knows all about me and he likes me anyway! ;)

when i dated a guy we were like really serious we told each other everything. cuz we were best friends. .we would even compete to see who had funnier s-ex times lol
