I am on Tri-Sprintec as well, and am currently on my 3rd week. I personally haven't noticed any other side effects, but I have realized that my acne has gotten a little worse. I've been told the first month is the worst though, so after then, it should start to clear up.

As for using acne cream, I use that as well and no, it shouldn't hurt your face or yourself for that matter. Just continue to take the pills and the cream, and you should see better results after the first pack is gone or so.

I hope I helped out a little! =]

Your acne will clear up when the pills actually start working. I was on Yasmin and I didn't see a change in my skin for about a month. You can wash your face with anything you want, it shouldn't make your face worse
