I understand. I was angry when I lost an account for that reason too. I know there's nothing to be said to ease the anger, but just try to get revenge. There is a way, sorta, and it feels so good! You just have to be careful with what you say here, because their are some thin skinned people and several reporters.

what i'm reading is that's why you think people report when it's not necessary, and i think you have some points, but the biggest must be that they are miserable in their own lives and would prefer to make others miserable rather than improve themselves.
