I can see the same prospect for the Bangladeshi Cricket Team that we saw in Pakistani Cricket Teams in their earlier days. I was in Pakistan and saw them grow from 1960s onward when people like Hanif Muhammad would make us proud.

Considering the improvements and change of techniques and format of the games in ICC WC, I see no reason that our cubs would not do better in next WC in 2011.

Only the thing needed is professionalism built in their psyche so that they would play round the year and practice the game more diligently.

By the way, some hint of nepotism and weak leadership in Habibul Bashar as well as ill-timed announcement of the Coach Dave Whatmore may have caused extra strain in the mind of our players. Such mishaps and wrong planning must be taken care of if we really want to see our team succeed.

Best of Luck the tiger cubs!

I think the Bangladeshi team will go from strength to strength - they are talented, keen and enthusiastic, but also young and clearly enjoying their cricket.

I think all the criticism aimed at the England team for not thrashing Bangladesh was most unfair to the Bangladeshi team, who weren't given full credit for their excellent bowling and fielding. I hope they go far and continue to provide the entertainment they are giving at present.

I do not think so. They are most inconsistent team and as such have been able to cause upsets only once in a while and are not able to continue their performance consistently.
