In 'The Sims 2: Pets', do your pets age with visible changes, then eventually die?

Also, in 'The Sims 2: Nightlife', what are the new additions for clothing, hair, and furniture? Like, how much new stuff do they have for each?

For the pets, they have the same lifespan as sims do. They're born, they age, they die, although I haven't had any pets die yet.

For Nightlife, the game brought cars, garages, and lots of clothes with a few hairstyles, as well as new furniture and building options. I can't name everything off the top of my head, but go to the Sims2 site and search on there under the Nightlife forum for your answers. Or you can buy the Prima Guide, it lists each and everything the game came with.
