When tanning in a tanning bed....?

a.) is it safe to put cell phone/ipod in with you? if not, where do you put them?
b.) should i put on any sort of lotion before i go in, or only afterwards to moisturize?

I don't know about any safety issues with having your cell phone in the tanning bed with you, but I am curious as to why you would want to do that? Are you that stuck on your cell phone that you really can't part with it for 20 minutes? I use my time in the tanning booth to relax. I've used my Ipod in the tanning beds before with no problems. I just usually keep it away from the lights though, so it doesn't overheat.

As for the lotions, you can use the tan enhancer lotions if you want, either before or after your tan session. You'll probably want to use something that contains a moisturizer though since burning your skin will dry it out.

If you have any more questions about tanning, ask someone at your local tanning salon. They are the professionals. They can better answer your questions regarding their policies and how to better enhance your tan. Most even sell the tanning lotions right there.

I like to use lotion. It helps intensify tan .I would leave my cell phone out of the bed on the floor.

Firstly, why would you want your phone in with you when your only in there for 10min? Secondly, you should be able to buy tanning lotions (bronzers) from the tanning salon.
