or feeling him in my heart and such. Just evidence. (and logical one)
i dont see proof about god existence by saying that universe must be intelligently designed. (i dont see why, we, humans, may not be here just by chance)

Though no one can prove or disprove God's existence, our history reveals the unmistakable footprints of something greater than man.

Well... I guess I could put a gun to your head and kill you which would immediately usher you into the presence of Creator God... but that would be cruel on my part. My point being the only time you will see Him face to face is when you die. Until then, you must believe (place your trust in Him) that He exists and rewards those who earnestly seek Him. This is what the Bible calls faith and it is by faith (not feelings) we must live before we die. After death, we will be able to see the hard evidence but it will be too late to repent of our sins and become right with God. Sounds like a "run around" answer but the most rewarding endeavors in life are rarely easily obtained. May the Holy Spirit open your heart so you will see how much God loves you and respond to that love while you still have the chance. Blessings to you...

No. No one can PROVE God. The reason being, if you have read the Bible, God does not require our proving of Him. The theory is that God created and we choose to believe. Then God proves Himself to you. No where in scripture does it say that God Has to prove Himself to the unbelieving. To tell some one who does believe not to use the Christian social base, the Bible, makes any evidence of personal experience irrelevant and negates any open conversation. I am sure this is not the answer you wanted but it is an honest one. I am Agnostic myself. However, the Biblical theology is that the evidence of God transcends logic as we understand logic. "The Word of God cannot be comprehended by the natural human way of thinking and reasoning".

When you look at the evidence of other entities, Specters, Ghosts even Aliens, it is difficult to ignore the physical evidence concerning those things. While I am an Agnostic, I would not rule out the possibility of an entity that reigns power supreme. There are too many other relative facts for the existence of life forms and entities that are as of yet unexplained.

Hi.
Nobody can prove the existence of God just as nobody can prove how the universe began. There are a lot of natural phenomenal that we accept but can't prove. Can you prove the speed of light is correct or do you accept it based on mathematical calculations by scientists.

Faith is all we have to believe in God.Those who believe no explanation is necessary. Those who don't believe,no explanation is possible.

What do you mean by proof? For many centuries a "proof" could means rational demonstration of some kind. Perhaps, then, it is empirical proof-- you want some kind of physical evidence, like genetic material from God-- then you would accept the claim of God's existence? I would caution you in this regard, not only in reference to the issue of God's existence, because much of what is important in terms of human existence is not simply quantifiable in terms of the material and the empirical. Reduction of existence to the material and of epistemology to the empirical, as well as a relentless need for certitude are all pathologies and pre-occupations of modernity.

Most of the arguments for God's existence do not offer proof in the sense of empirical evidence. And most people who would formulate those arguments would not accept physical evidence as proof of God's existence anyway, because they would assert that God is not a creature or a being in the world, and therefore is not a physical entity like ourselves. God's existence is accepted as a revelation, which God initiates and humanity receives.

Most of the arguments for God's existence are offering a way to discipline the mind to think about what God's nature might be (or not be) if God exists. These distinctions are then often used by believers to develop a consistent way of talking about the God in whom they believe.

At the heart of many of these arguments is an inference, rather than what we often understand as a proof. These inferences, which are usually reasoned, might indicate for some the existence of God, but do not tell us much about God's essential nature or whether or not God would be in any way interested in the world. There are two inferences which many contemporary folks find to be interesting in terms of indicating the existence of God. One would be the frustratingly unanswerable question of why things exist at all. The other is, why does material reality just happen to be intelligible? These questions lead many to postulate the existence of a reality that is greater than the universe, a reality that some identify as God.

No one can coerce you to believe in God. God's existence is, after all, for the most part, an act of faith. Faith is not really faith if it is coerced. But can faith in God, without empirical "proof" still be rational? This is something you will have to decide for yourself. But I would recommend that you read a little in terms of how a scientist and physicist, like Einstein, looked at this question. There are also some very good references in the work of John Polkinghorne.

If you want me to tell you he exists and looks like us and lives in the sky. I can't. Because I don't belive in that.but I know we're all made or have energy. It's what keeps us alive. The earth and universe is all made of energy.
Now I know energy can not be distroyed, so when we die, that energy inside us has to go some where or become a part of something. Nobody knows for sure.
I can't answer your question but maybe one day something will give you an answer you can understand.
Don't feel bad because we're all in the same boat. No one has proof, only faith or a belief in a higher energy.

there's no evidence for either the perspective that there is or there is not a god,

the info we'd need to evaluate objectively would be outside our possible realm of experience

this "faith" explanation is new to religionists -- up until "the age of reason" --- beginning sometime around 1782, people stopped trying to use "evidence" and started demanding "faith" -- until around the time of david hume and kant, people used arguments based on evidence and reason to 'prove' god's existence... now, since they know it doesn't work, they rely on 'faith'
i think it's a good solution, but it is no doubt a *new* solution...

It's called faith. As long as you believe it, its true. It's funny how it works but there is no proof. If there was, there wouldn't be any atheists like us, right? Well you anyway, I'm agnostic. I mean, what's responsible for the big bang? Can you prove the creation of the universe? Do you even know how the universe was created?

Humans might be here by chance, but where did love come from? It is not an attribute inherent in hydrogen and helium, which are the first two elements (the Adam and Eve of the Big Bang) from which all other elements evolved.
Love comes from somewhere, something can not come from nothing.

Please read my words carefully:
If you see footmark in the sand, you'll say that someone passed from here...
If you see a piece of dog sh*t on the ground, you'll say that a dog passed from here...
So what about the enormous universe, the sky, stars, planets, earth and all the beauty in it, doesn't it lead to that someone made it?!!!

Some people say that everything is created by itself after the big-bang... I won't ask you about what caused the big-bang, but I'll ask you a simple question:
If you take all the letters of the alphabet, multiples of them, and you threw them randomly on the floor. Do you expect (by a chance of one in infinity) to get a poem like shakespear's??!!

Can't you see how organized our universe is, the planets, the eco-system on earth, look even in your own body... Can you control your heart-beat? Can you control your breath while you're sleeping? Who stopped your eye-lashes from growing after reaching a certain length? Who told the baby turtles to move towards the sea and not to the earth after they come out of their eggs? Who taught the bird how to make nests?

My friend, think with your heart and brain. If you're still lost, think about the following:

Do you know how to play safe?
Non-believer's case:
If there's no God and you do all what you want in life, then nothing will happen to you after life. But if there was God and you were mistaken, then you'll blame yourself FOREVER...

Believer's case:
If there's God and I followed His commands in life, then I'll be in Heaven after life FOREVER. But if there was no God and we're mistaken, then nothing bad will happen to us after life...

Now you know how to play-safe, in case you're not convinced?
