God is utmost, this world and it's creatures, my country, my Dad, my family, my fellow soldiers in Viet Nam, The ones who have given their lives in this current war and all wars before, those that died at the Twin Towers and all the other attacks on our country, the women I have loved, my friends, especially those here on yahoo answers and all the friends I have yet to meet. I have been truly blessed with so much that is beautiful.

Giving birth to my son and daughter. That happened years and years ago but that was the closest I ever felt to God because the births felt like miracles to me.

Both children now have given me grandchildren which has again given me something extremely beautiful in my life.

To add to all of that beauty, I was given the gift of raising my 3 young grandsons. I've had the 12 year old since he turned 4. I was able to adopt him in May of 2005. I've had my 9 year since he also turned 4 and I was able to adopt him this year in Feb. I've had the pleasure of having the youngest since he was still in diapers (age 2) and he is now 7 yrs. old.

So I have been blessed over and over with so, so much beauty in my life along with indescribable joy!

Having a job that lets me drive over the whole USA. I love taking photos in the mountains of Oregon, Washington and California.

My family and friends also qualify as being something beautiful in my life.

The relationship I have with my 3 yr. old son is the most important. And of course, just his face and personality is something beautiful.

Also: My attitude towards people---I'm the nicest person in the world and it's beautiful....................OMG, I'm sad! I was going to list a few things but come to think of it, I don't have a very beautiful life.

The sun as it rises for the day.
The green shoots of spring poking their heads out of the dirt.
My youngest grandson's dimples as he smiles at me.
The look in my daughter's eyes when she plays a joke on me.
The smile of my elderly neighbour when I stop in to visit.
The neighbourhood ginger tom cat that has never met an enemy in it's life and just begs for attention from everyone.
Watching the neighbourhood babies grow and learn.
The ear to ear grins on the faces of my two youngest neighbours, little girls 15 and 18 months old, when you meet them on the roadway.
My oldest cat when she forgets to act stuck-up and actually PURRS for attention.
The pleasure on my oldest grandson's face when he manages to do well in a test.
Watching the sun go down in a blaze of fire colours over the trees in the ravine behind me.
Finding very good examples of the foibles of human nature on sites like Yahoo Answers.

In short, everything that makes me smile, and glad to be alive.

Washington State, with all the mountains, rivers, the Puget Sound (ocean) and the forests. We build our freeways and cities around the trees out here, instead of paving them all over.

The love that I have from my sweetheart. He is so generous in his love and giving -- he is the kindest and most romantic loving man I have ever known --and the only one I want. His love is beautiful.
