Anything that is not hindered by a physical disability that would make it impossible or by a cognitive disability that would make it hard for them to understand the rules. Really, adjustments can be made to just about every game in order that everyone could play. It just takes a little imagination adn creativity to make it happen! I work with preschoolers with disabilities, and we manage to alter every game in some little way for each child in order to make it happen. It can be so much fun- and it puts the focus on everyone enjoying the game, instead of on winning.

All of them! If you've got developmental disabilities you can play in the special olympics. If you're a dwarf, the DAAA has games every year. There are the Paralympics for people who are paralyzed.
If you want to do it, you can find a way.

Depends on the disability, but pretty much adjustments can be made in any sport.

Virtually any sport--provided reasonable accomodations/adaptive equipment is available.

You can find information on many sports activities at specialolympiccs.org. However, there are many other activities that persons with disabilities engage in, not just those in this porgram.

If you mean mentally challenged, they can play any sport that they have an interest in.
The physically challenged may have to have some accomodations in order to play some sports, but they also can play most of them.
Bowling is very popular, but so is Skiing, tennis, basketball and baseball.

mostly depends on the type of disability and the amount of dependence on other types of assistance a person has...also on the ability of the family(parents) to let go to allow the child(adult) to explore themselves and their likes and dislikes....

my son has severe learning disabilities but was able to understand the rules once told to him and demonstrated to him to participate in the following track, basketball, touch football, rock climbing, and a variety of others

i worked with mentally disabled adults who participated in special olympics....track, bowling, track, swimming, field events, and in one case baseball

i have also worked with severly disabled children ...deaf, physically disabled, and blind ....they too can participate ....there even have been disabled/or differently abled persons who have participated in professional sports including baseball, football, hockey, swimming, track/field, and many others....

dont hold yourself or others back because of your own insecurities
