I want to level about 15ft by 15ft of my back yard to get a trampoline, but I can't find any information about how much this may cost. Anyone know anything or any sites?

..........This is sweat equity.................

Go to a equiptment rental place and tell them what you want to do. They will tell you what you need to rent and sometimes they will deliver it.
it will cost about $250 to rent for a day.
But that is cheaper than hiring it done.
when you hire they want $300 just to load up and then so much for the job.
Good Luck

Call your local landscape contractors and ask them for a bid. Most contractors will provide estimates at no charge. Sometimes they'll quote it over the telephone, but if they do, be aware that they may charge more when they actually show up to do the job because of something you may have failed to mention.

I work for a landscape contractor, and we are *very* wary of giving telephone quotes. We'd rather set up an appointment to see the site if it's a sizable job. If it's a small job, we may give a ballpark guesstimate over the phone that we are not required to honor. If the homeowner doesn't freak out at the ballpark figure, we'll swing by and take a look at the job site next time we're in the neighborhood so we can give an actual bid.

For example, we have an ad on an online bulletin board for our local area in Northern CA, which quotes $200 to do the trenching for a sprinkler system. We specify that this is for a standard suburban-sized back yard with access for our trencher. So if their back yard is huge or the gate doesn't open wide enough for us to get the trencher through it or there's something blocking the trencher's access to the back yard, we are not obligated to do it for that low price. That's the price for a quick and simple job.

Depending how bad your incline in your back yard. Sometimes just getting someone to roll your lawn can do leveling. Lawn rollers are available at your local hardware or garden centers, or rental yards. Sole are hand operated and some are tractor operated following behind tractor. Lawn rollers are round cylinders that you fill with water and the weight from the roller flatten the ground like a roller on blacktop payment. It firm the soil and or lawn to a smoother surface. But if you has a larger incline you might have to move soil around to make a level place for your project. then use a lawn roller to flatten and smooth it out.
