A go-go club is where people in D.C., Maryland, and Virginia go to listen to go-go music. Go-go music is a very important part of our culture here, so much that in our area these songs are played and often requested to be played more than mainstream music like,Rap and R&B. It would help if you defined what a "go-go" club was and who Johnson was, or even better if you linked to a news article on the actual event.
Generally, communities can regulate any business as long as they can justify it based on some non-discriminatory policy.

Well technically no it isnt, but go-go clubs are infamous for violence. I know youre aware of this, if youve actually been. I used to go to go-go clubs in DC to see the Backyard Band.
