On April 17th, 1963, a man named Eugene Schnietzel, did, in fact, but the bomp in the bomp-de-bomp. There are some conflicting stories about who put the Wam in the wamma-lamma-ding-dong, but historians best guess is that a wayward girl from Peoria, Illinois, in the mid-1950's snuck out of the house and caused the wam that was heard around the world.....Hope I helped.

Who Put The Bomp by Barry Mann (1961).
I asked this question many, many months ago. But others asked it years before me, so who am I to complain?!
I'd like to thank the guy who wrote the song
that made my baby fall in love with me...
Who put the bomp in the bomp-a-bomp-a-bomp
Who put the ram in the ram-a-lam-a-ding-dong
Who put the bop in the bop-she-bop-she-bop
Who put the dip in the dib-de-dip-de-dip
Who is that man, I'd like to shake his hand
He made my baby fall in love with me (yeah!)
When my baby heard bomb-a-bo-bomp-a-bomp-a-bomp-bomp
Every word went right into her heart
And when she heard them singing ram-a-lama-lama-lama-lama-ding-dong
She said we'd never have to part, etc etc etc.
