I don't know if he would be considered interesting enough. And he was arrested a while back for filming people going to the bathroom in his restaurant. What makes those types of movies work, I think, is the dramatic lives of the subjects. I don't believe Chuck Berry has lived a very dramatic, nor, exciting life. I mean if he films people going to the bathroom...
But if they did make a movie, then, Snoop Dog, sure, sounds as good a choice as any.

Morgan Freeman would be a great narrator, as he's proven. My only concern is they'd end up casting either Johnny Depp or Will Farrell to play Chuck Berry...lol Chuck Berry was real outspoken and just don't give a hoot...lol He even scares Keith Richards and that's saying something...lol Maybe Keith should narrarate "Shuck Brrrry is seidust gggtar plyrrrr errr." LMAO!

If they can spend all of that money on a movie about Bobby Darren, they can definitely do the same for Chuck Berry. Even Little Richard had a t.v. movie about him. We need to see a movie of his life ASAP, the good and the bad. Isn't that in every rock n roll icon movie. It is long overdue.

The only thing is those other people you mentioned are already dead.
Chuck Berrry led a very interesting life, regardless of what the previous posters have said.
He overcame obstacles, commited crimes(armed robbery) struggle with addictions and all those thing that seem to go into a bio-pic.
But there is the nasty thing of him doing things on camera that even RKelly didnt get caught doing.
And most of all, he is still alive....
Good Q.

yes, if they make movies about serial killers
(Ted Bundy & others) why not about a musical
icon? I think Snoop Dog would be a good choice,
with the proper makeup.

No, but I would like to see something like "I am Sam" with Chuck Berry music through out. They could call it "My Ding a ling"
