They probably would still be getting things done. Dems can't get anything done because they are to busy with their " create a scandal a day until 2008 " crusade.

You have to give the Republican controlled House of Reps last year credit for STOPPING the McCain/Kennedy/Bush S.2611 AMNESTY Bill last year. If God forbid this Bill was ever enacted America would never be the same.
They also passed the Incredible Anti-Illegal Immigration Bill HR 4437 which was so good the Illegal Aliens were in a panic marching in our streets to protest it and other non sense they feel they are entitled too.
Unfortunately the SELLOUT Republican controlled Senate and that Traitor Bush would have no part of it so it never passed.
I wanted the Republicans to lose the Senate because of that but I wanted them to keep the House of Reps for fear of a Democratic Controlled House would be more apt to pass an AMNESTY BILL for Illegal Aliens.
Sure enough with the Dems in power they have a new AMNESTY Bill, HR 1645 the Flake- Gutierrez AMNESTY Bill
just as I predicted. I am know hoping that all the new Dems that got elected who ran on a "NO AMNESTY, SECURE the BORDERS" platform will step up and block it.

That is irrellevant because they dont still control congress. But I think the Iraq war spending bill wouldnt be held up like it is and Nancy Pelosi wouldve never had the guts to go to Syria.

The same, the DNC has really done nothing in the last 100 days. (but then half of them are out on the campagn trail and it is only 18 working days for congress)

It'd be the same since congress is doing absolutely nothing but trying to get Bush to sign Iraq crap that we all know he is going to deny.

there wouldn't be all this bickering over the Iraq war and cut and run policy, we probably would have passed something in illegal immigration by now...i think over all there would have been less bickering over things...and more things getting done...

Not much different, though Bush would have less to complain about.
The primary difference is that we would still have a Dept of Justice that we couldn't trust, with no end in sight. And we'd be running up trillions more in debt fighting a war with no end in sight.
But those only affect us for years down the road -- neither would change anything today.
