Book written 1970s or 1980s. I thought title was A Fall From Grace, but can't find anywhere. Sophisticated 30 something couple take tropical vacation and meet young blonde hippie-type girl on plane. They befriend her throughout their trip and find out she is pregnant. Wife finally realizes the girl is her husband's mistress.

At first I thought it was something I was looking for some time ago. I saw a tv movie about a young girl who was pregnant and ran away/chased away from home, trying to find a place to hide. She stumbled across an abandoned lighthouse on the coast, only to find there was a black man hiding there. He was thought to be a criminal but was not—unjustly accused or something. They spent a long time hiding there and he would forage for her at night. When the time came for her to deliver her baby, the sherriff that hated the black guy was closing in. He ran out knowing the sherriff would shoot him on sight to keep the sherriff from shooting the girl. Everybody assumed that the black guy had been holding the girl hostage; maybe even hat he had raped her. But when they asked her who he was, she told them, “He was my daddy.”
