I have to pick a topic from the 1900s. I was thinking something about Ghandi, Buddhism, or space exploration (how people think that no one has ever ACTUALLY landed on the moon and whatnot). What could I write about these things?!
Your opinion?!
Thanks =]

There were events that were more momentous than the moon landing, but most would not be described as exciting. If you go with the moon landing, something that I have always wondered about is the nationality of the doubters. I would think that US citizens would less likely to disbelieve, but it seems from postings on the Internet that they are the ones spreading the conspiracy theory. Maybe they just have more access, but is a puzzle that might make an interesting paper.

1969 Man Walking on the Moon to me was the most exciting event of the 20th century and probably the number one or number two event of the century(# 2 because the Atomic Bombings have more of an effect because we have been on the eve of destruction ever since)

How about the fall of the Berlin Wall? That's a little more recent, and because it took place here on earth you can probably find lots of pictures and stories about it.
