I am completely pro-life, & believe abortion for any reason is wrong. But I would like to see some different views on the issue, and would like statistics on the matter.

The crime rate dropped drastically about 15 years after it was legalized. Unwanted children = future criminals.

I believe in pro-life, but after taking a moment and seeing just where I stand on the issue, I have come to the conclusion that Abortion, sadly as it may seem to be, is the woman's last chance to avoid bringing a child into the world. A morbid contraceptive I know, but if you take the best interest of the children and by bringing them into a world where the first of their lives are adversity and parenting by kids not mature adults themselves, leaves the margin that these children may miss some of the vital teachings and spend a life of misery because we as adults failed institution the proper precaution and instruction. Hence, they are not gonna outlaw abortion until it cuts into the profits of the child support industry. Those concerned have made child support laws that are unconstitutional and being that abortion is the final pass to bearing children and the female has that decision, I think that she should be the one to bear full responsibility for that child for it is out of the hands of the father except for the money and insurance payments. It is not fair and it is unconstitutional, and when the laws are reviewed after a disaster or major problem it will be decided that the responsibility of children today has been shoveled onto the man because not only of her will to abstain, but the one with the last word to prevent another baby tagged onto the rolls of welfare is with the woman and that is where the responsibility should lie should she become pregnant out of wedlock and chose to keep the baby. Irresponsibility of women has been burdened by man since the beginning of time, when that burden is mandated by law and without recourse it shines as an example of the injustice and unconstitutionality of some of our governments actions.

Legalized abortion has no impact on society. the women who choose to have the medical procedure have it done in the privacy of a clean doctor's office. There are no reasons why the practice should be outlawed. If it were then that would have a profound impact on society. The women would still have a procedure done illegally. the price would most likely be high with no money going to the state or to education or to parenting groups. the women would most likely get injured or die. Why would you want to cause the unnecessary burden to society to care for unwanted children? What about the injured women? the illegal doctors who practice without licenses? Keeping abortion safe and legal as an option for those who choose it, is the only way to aviod negative impacts on society as a whole. those who choose not to have an abortion or who feel it is morally wrong, need not worry about it, they don't have to have one. Their efforts should be put into sex education and parenting classes so the unwanted pregnancies would not happen to begin with. Thanks for asking and letting me include my 2 cents worth.

Abortion is helpful to society. When a mother makes the choice to abort, she chooses not to put the child in a bad situation. The child would otherwise grow up resented, hated, and frequently abused and neglected. Also, that's one more kid my taxes won't pay for. Most kids who are candidates for abortion WILL be on welfare.
The kids don't deserve that kind of horrid life. I urge ALL women to abort if they have ANY doubts about having the child.

Legal abortion has the following effects:

It drastically reduces the amount of damage women suffer getting illegal unregulated abortions. History shows that making abortion illegal didn't reduce the number of abortions much -- just like making drugs illegal doesn't reduce the number of drug users. But being illegal, women were forced to do-it-themselves or go to unlicensed practitioners, which caused many more medical complications, and many more deaths.

It drastically reduces the number of children who are abandoned by single mothers. Having abortion as legal hasn't changed the adoption rate signifcantly, it just drastically reduced the number of children in orphanages hoping to be adopted.

It drastically reduces the amount of welfare paid to mothers who cannot support their unwanted children.

Etc. And while you are completely entitled to belief abortion is wrong for any reason -- do you also think that you should be able to force everyone else to follow what you believe?

nicely, you're leaving out a pair of issues and providing the argument slightly in a distinctive way than i've got frequently considered it - For one subject, this is not the toddler's fault, yet that does no longer propose the toddler has to enhance up in that homestead. Adoption is continuously starving for little ones. Loving human beings abound waiting for a raffle to lovingly strengthen a toddler. additionally, although we would want to "say" it, abortion does contain killing an unborn toddler. Which back, seems slightly brutal for any reason. Abortion morally is previous venture if the mum's life is at risk. a real scientific emergency. nicely beneficial. for the comparable reason, we cut back away a life-threatening tumor with out thinking approximately it. We even intentionally execute some adults, for specific reasons. yet like a number of killing, it rather is extreme, significant, organisation and could require a minimum of a few style of societal or scientific invovement. we don't get to verify directly to execute our neighbor, privately. Like a protection criminal expert, some human beings in touch in this subject intentionally attempt to confuse it and twist it around because of the fact, with out subject, they understand this is incorrect and that they like it. demanding to justify, So enter the homestead of smoke and mirrors. life starts off at quarter after six another Thursay night, or perhaps if. i think of in case you be beneficial you incorporate adoption following the delivery of an undesirable, yet otherwise unthreatening toddler, it falls into place.
