I don't shop at Wal-Mart for a whole lot of reasons. They're the biggest legal sweatshop in existence, IMHO. I know people who've worked at a Wal-Mart, and cattle headed to the slaughter pen are treated better.

As far as I'm concerned, spending money at Wal-Mart is the same thing in principle as condoning slavery and oppression.

I am always amazed how Wal-mart gets the rap and Blue Cross credit card companies and collection agencies do not
All of them go overseas So what may I ask does this mean
don't buy from them.....????

So this is what I have to say Without Wal-Mart small towns have no place else to buy food ,clothes, and etc. Without Wal-mart some small towns would never have the ability to have a good place to shop.....

Now if you do not like what they get overseas then don't buy from Target K-Mart ,Wall greens or any store other words if you would have bought American at the start then you would not ask this question

I am a American owned company I make a product to compete with the overseas and child markets Am I happy about it NO... does anyone care if I make a living NO
It is all on price not on youth not on old just who can make it CHEAP and if it works more than a week it is a miracle

Is Wal-Mart using force to buy their products? I didn't know that. All I know is that I am exercising my Freedom to shop and my Freedom to choose Wal-Mart as my shopping center.
I know in several areas they are not allowed to operate because they can kill small businesses in that town. At least that freedom goes as far as banning them to some places to operate. How does that concern my grandchildren?

Well, see, that's why I go down to the local non-chain groceries, bakeries and such here in my area. Trade with China is inevitable in many areas of our lives, but it's possible to support our local merchants and so help them stay in business despite the superstores.

I'd rather see the local seniors working in a store with their family around instead of being blown off in public at Wal Mart

I'm assuming you subscribe to the buying from Wal-Mart = buying from China argument, but really, the more we buy from China the quicker we hurry their undemocratic government's collapse. We are empowering the middle class of China, and they will be the impetus to overthrow their oppressive regime, not America and our military. That is of course, if it happens. . .

Walmart? Bad? They pay old people to stand at the door and great you. I like it because it is a superstore! I can buy everything, including my groceries in one stop and that's nice when you gotta take the kids along.

LOL- I shop at walmart because its convenient. Why run around to 4-5 stores when I can buy it all at one.

Excellent question! I don't step foot in there and don't mind paying a dollar of three more to buy from a local merchant!

You should buy all American! Like a Ford, that was manufactured in Korea and assembled in Mexico - that is the truly American product!
