the best cleaner for a toilet is THE WORKS. It will get anything off. I have also used it in the shower and tub. But it's really strong and smells awfull. But it will be clean with very little effort.

There is a cleaner called CLR that works great on tubs and showers. Or Lime Away. Those will take care of soap scum, lime deposits etc....Once it's clean, get the daily shower spray and spray it on your tub/shower right after you get out every day. YOu won't have to deep clean the shower very often if you are consistant.
The scrubbing bubbles stuff works well too.
My husband once cleaned a tub with Tire cleaner. I'm not sure that would be good for your fixtures but he says it really works.
Buy Clorox kitchen and bath wipes. They are easy to use, disinfect and smell good.
If you hate cleaning the bathroom, get someone to do it for you. Look in the local paper. You should be able to have someone come in everyother week and clean your bathroom for around 30 bucks. It's worth it.

I find using soft scrub with bleach with a stiff scrubbing brush and no water right at first... then add water and finish cleaning... this removes very old and caked on soap scum and some of the molds (the bleach you know) I had a horrible problem in my sink since we have well water and it's fibreglass. soft scrub is safe AND strong enough to clean and NOT destroy. You can also squirt a little in the toilet bowl and swish it cleans and bleaches there too. The floors were not usually cleaned with anything WE could buy but a strong sanitizing solution which we also sprayed the tub surrounds AND toilet seats with.

well, unless youre starting with a surface that is already clean, you will have to get in there a little bit. If you are cleaning soapscum on a smooth surface, I suggest Scrub free soap scum remover. It really powers through it. Scrubbing bubbles also works good, but not on heavy soap scum. And tilex for mildew, it works without scrubbing more all the time, inless its super bad. good luck!

The best bathroom cleaner is baking soda, you have to use a little elbow grease, but it works wonders! I use it along with a piece of scotch brite on the hard soap scum on the tub,try it dry first. If dry does not work add a little water to the scotch brite. Good luck!

Scrubbing Bubbles does wonders. If you have really bad mold and soap scum use a few times the first week to get a great effect.

Throw 2 denture pills in (pour anoth glass of water in to make positive it comes in basic terms above that stain with out forcing the bathroom to flush) and let them sit in one day. get up contained in the morning and scrub it out. Works each and every time. For the universal sparkling bowl, i exploit the Kaboom product that you position interior your take. It lasts 3 months and actually keeps it sparkling inspite of my 4 boys.in elementary words placed it in when you've wiped clean the bathroom notwithstanding so that you will be putting out sparkling.

This really works.
It is orange hand cleaner. The kind that mechanics use.
You smear it on and let it set for 30 minutes then go back and wipe off. It also leaves a orange smell.
I promise it works.

I agree with Lisa's answer using baking soda is good, also I have used vinegar with baking soda too. When mix baking soda with vinegar it will foam up but it is a good cleaner. Make sure your rinse well when using baking soda and vinegar.
Depending how dirty your bathroom is you will have to use a little elbow grease.

Mean Green is excellent. I buy it at Dollar Tree but you can also get it at Wal-Mart. You just squirt it on your tub or sink and wipe it off. Just don't lock yourself up in the bathroom with the it--- the fumes are bad.
