What worries me a lot more is what happens if Israel does something crazy and gets us all blown to hell. Talk of an attack on Iran has circulated for some time and usually involves the US using tacnukes or tactical nuclear weapons. It is difficult to know whether there is any truth to the matter, but I would imagine that before Bush leaves office, he might set upon a path for a wider war, then declare martial law and remain in office as long as he wished. Like the caesars of Rome, he would bestride the nation and revoke all civil rights.
Israel is the key to all this. We need to cut our support for Israel, remove ourselves from Middle East politics and let nature take its course.
As the author points out, jews are already buying homes in Russia and Poland, the US and Canada. They know it's coming.

First of all, why should we in America believe any propaganda that France or General Leonid Ivashov, the former Chief of Staff of the Russian armed forces puts out?

Second, Iran is one year a way from being able to develop and deploy it's own nuclear weapon...do we want Iran with it's present fanatic in charge (who has already declared that "Israel should be wiped off the face of the map.") to have such power?

Third, we won't be attacking Iran (if indeed we do) with Nukes, we realize there are too many innocent Iranians who are pro-West and anti-the present Iranian regime...
there would be precise, pinpoint attacks on their nuclear plants and perhaps some other "strategic" strikes that would accomplish the mission to finally put an end to the Iranian nuclear threat.

u.s. will probable be dragged right into a broader conflict, yet no longer being an instantaneous participant. If Israel makes any strikes on any of its enemies u.s. seems to quickly proportion the blame even if if in all risk that they had no longer something to do with it. Iran is teasing Israel and u.s. so as that the two Israel or u.s. will attack them (Israel will probable be the aggressors). this is what Iran needs so Iran can come back and say 'We did no longer start up the conflict-They did!'. BTW: in case you think Iran have been given rid of their nuke software in 2003, then I also have a bridge to sell you that starts off in super apple and leads to Spain for $a million.

What makes you think the USA is going to attack Iran?
Only if they persist in acquiring nukes.
You may think that is cool but we don't!
Israel will do what they think is in there best interest.
You can take your article and shove it, I didn't go there and I don't need your left wing bullshit!
Better question to Iranians, "do you know what will happen to you if you threaten a super power with nuclear weapons."
Answer, you don't want to know, we don't want it to happen and no one will be with any virgins.

Propoganda propoganda propoganda......nothing alse to it. The source you have above is a propoganda website and nothing else. To allow the preparations needed for Iran to assmilate itself with other American hating countries.

Countries that goes as far as teaching children in school at an early age to hate "ALL AMERICANS".

A lot of Iranians and other Middle East countries run their government sponserd rallies against Isreal and the United States of America to spew hatered comments (in fact I just talked to my younger children about this after they witnessed a Middle East hate rally on TV, not in a paper but TV. And pictures do not lie).

Did you see anyone in the US or Isreal sponsering death to Iran, Syria, North Korea or anyone else for that matter.

The answer is NO.

Additionaly, the government of the US is also not going to American grade, middle, and high school kids to force the teaching of hate or to prepare them on how to operate weapons to kill, without alllowing them to mature and make their own choices.

Substantial reasons for Iran being a threat is Iran is meddling their influences with lies and deceit against the US government and their people. And has already gone to war with the US that are in Iraq(Iranian Revolutionary Guard), and placing some concerns and influence with those who actually control that vast oil industry. The IMF (international Monetary Foundation) and The World Bank, who can bring a fall of the American dollar. Its a lot lot bigger then nuclear activities, ambitions, or the ownership of oil fileds. It is these two who can call out America on our debts and try to regain all that is not owned by the US because it was brought with borrowed money. And we will feel the pain of this and continue to pay our National debt on the pumps at every gas station in our nation.

Those propoganda websites will always for the most try to convince you that the US is trying to apply their influences on the World unneedingly. Well most countries request for US help and intervention, and truly sees the US as a great ally.

Furthermore, yes Iran and maybe even Venzuela may have to be taken out eventually, or ready themselves for annihilation. And the States who try to isolate the US from the world will be eventually attacked also because its more then war, its an attempt to eliminate the last SUPER POWER of the world. And it can only be done financially, because our military are and will also be the strongest in the entire world amongst mankind. And in addition to this financial repercussion from war, there will be others to try and bankrupt and cause hardship on everyday Americans. And that is The IMF and the World Bank who controls the greatest currency in the world OIL. Middle East countries cannot move a drop without them, and its because they are the ones who will determine the cost of crude. And the US position there and the vision of President Bush is appropriate and warranted because of this. And Bushes wealth made on oil is far less then what the IMF and The World Bank rakes in.

What an absurd article. From an equally absurd publication. There is no one willing to strike us with nukes, nor able to. And exactly what gives you the idea that we are going to attack Iran with nukes? Is your aluminum cap malfunctioning. Total none sense.

Yes, I realize what would happen.

Things would escalate, and we'd start WW3 as a nuclear war. Hundreds of millions of people in the Middle East would be killed. Billions of gallons of oil would go up in flames, and that assumes the oil fields themselves don't catch on fire.

And the US would have secured its position as the only country to have ever attacked another (twice) with nuclear weapons -- though a nuclear attack on Iran would be impossible to justify, compared to the attack on Japan which is only difficult to justify.

That article just talks about reasons why the US might do it.

No thanks, I'm not into fantasy. I already know all I need to know if Iran actually develops a nuke. I've been in the military and my brother works for Homeland Security.

This is Israel's fight not ours. Of course they wouldn't lift a pinky to help us even though US taxpayers fund billions in military and monetary aid.
