--Put the spring in the fork tube and install the cap (finger tight). The spring will spread the forks apart and act as a lock washer making it easier to free the allen bolt.
-- Don't use an allen wrench! - Use an allen socket (buy the correct size).

--Lay the fork on your bench. Put the allen socket in the bolt and slam it a few times with a metal hammer. That will shock the bolt's threads and break loose the locktite.
--Remove the bolt with a "handheld inpact wrench". Available at most tool stores.

--Remove the fork tube. Then remove the fork seal with a seal puller.

You can use a screw driver to pry the seal out if you're very careful not to damage the fork case. "Whatever" tool you use, lay a rag on the edge of the fork case, so it doesn't get indented.
--Put the forks back together. Clean the locktite off the bolt with a wire brush. If the sealing washer is in bad condition, use a new one, or put some silicon sealant on the threads of the bolt. Tighten the bolt with the impact wrench.
--Install the parts that came out and install the fork seal with a fork seal driver.

Go to -Tools - Suspension - Fork Seal Drivers (the size is the diameter of the fork tube).
--Install the clip, dust seal and the correct amount of fork oil.
