What do girls look for in a guy?

I think lots of it depends. But are there are some key things most of us agree on.

Bathe and use deodorant. And don't douse yourself in AXE! A bad or overpowering smell is a bad first impression.

Clean clothes. Those three time used T shirt won't cut it!

Shave and a decent haircut. No you do not need to Mr. Marine but wild hair and scraggly beard are not going to help you.

Depends on the girl. I'm not super specific. I'd like for my guys to be built average: not abnormally buff, but not scrawny either. Most girls want the taller guys, of course, but we all differ in height. Girls usually love bedhead or longer hair on a guy (I don't mean Bo Bice length either; just slightly at or below the ears, I guess. But some guys can so rock shorter hair.) And most, if not all, of us hate too much gel! Girls definitely swoon over eyes, but no color in specific. Don't worry... the right girl will come along for you. No need to try and change your features for another's ideal.

You can ask 100 different girls and get a 100 different answers. I like tall men with broad shoulders. I don't like overly bulky muscles but definitely like some bulk on my man.
A broad defined jaw (not overly broad) is really important with pretty lips and eyes. I love black hair on men and clean shaven faces. Then you can show me a man with all of the above favorite features of mine and he can not be attractive to me cause it just all has to come together a certain way. But then I turn around and have a huge crush on Toby McGuire ( I guess that is how you spell his last name). Everything about him is cute and he seems so sweet with the sweetest voice. Then I turn around and think that Matthew McConaughey is the hottest man on earth. I change my mind again when I see Johnny Depp in Pirates of the Carribean. Then on my way to the store listening to L.L Cool J
I remember how extremely charming and beautiful his face is and how hot his body is and then he's my type. LOL
As for personality which is more important then looks or just as important atleast.
I like men that are not b*tchy. I'm a woman and get enough of that from myself at times. I like a man that is patient when I'm at my worst and babies me all the time but not suffocating at the same time. He needs to have a lot in common with me but compliment me with his differences.
Having a lot of money is not important to me. A guy should have goals to reach financial security however.

Hair: It needs to be brushed. It can't be sloppy, or messy looking.
Skin: Doesn't matter.
Height: Around the same height as me...5 "1 ish
Attitude: The perfect guy for me should be funny and able to get a laugh out of me. He also has to be kind and caring. I hate when guys fake something and try to be someone who they're not.

That is totally dependent on the girl! Different girls go for different things. But hygiene and health are universal! As long as you take care of yourself you can appeal to almost anyone! But don't just follow the crowd and do what you think gals want, but your own twist on your over all style. This will help you set yourself apart from other guys and make you unique, special, and way more memorable!

I look toward a guy witha nice smile, looks, personality, height, muscular, not to skinny and definatly not fat. He has to be tan, not ghostly white! Has to be generous, kind, and respct for his lady. Nice skin, blonde hair blue eyes is so cut, although I do like brunette hair and brown eyes. Suffer/skater hair is so cute on guys. Also he has to have nice skin..no pimples! Tattos are so hot, just not everywhere.

Everyone's 'particular' preferences will be different but I think most girls will agree that personality matters too as for 'anything else'. Many of these traits will be obvious - caring, kind.. and good hygiene is important too, that's surely a given.
