The earthworm is a hard worker for your garden soil. It aerates the soil by making tunnels in the soil in which water can be absorbed throughout the soil. Red worms are the best. They break down animal manure quickly. also earthworms with other micro- organisms break down and transform decaying vegetation and animal waste into humus. Which in turns is compost. Earthworm casting there poop is a very good fertilizer for your plants. To get earthworms for your garden is go to a bait shop and buy a dozen and put them in your garden. Red Worms can be bought at bait shops. I hope you will enjoy your earthworms for your garden. I'm an organic farmer Been using them for 30 years.
