Of course. I was charged with that responsibility when I married her. I know this may be cave man thinking but this is how we are designed. If I did not protect her and she was killed, my family line would not carry on. This is the original reason for defending a spouse to the death. Yes, love is the very big part of it.If I did not give my life up for my wife, what good as a human being would I be to anyone much less my children. I would die for them even before dying for my wife. Parents just feel that way and both mother and father will admit to just about everything I said here.

Yes I would die for my husband. I love him too much to see him hurt so I would take all of the pain and agony that he may be going thru just to see him happy.

This is one of those questions where a positive answer is easy but majority of the people out here have never been in or known a real life threatening situation and what exactly they would do in it.Most would probably faint just like in child birth. Its easy to say one would die for those they love but to actually do it is another picture. After being a rescue helicopter pilot and ex POW in Viet Nam and an ex Federal Law Officer assisting DEA in South and Central America, I can honestly say yes, I would definitely put my life on the line for my wife and immediate family without thinking if it would save theirs.

yes i would...if i were ever in a situation where i would witness them die and i had a chance to save them, yes i would. I would do that for my family and my beloved boyfriend. I would rather die than have them dying and me not saving them on my conscience the rest of my life.

Yes, if I was protecting him in doing it, but I would be concerned about leaving my children.
