It is much more beneficial for children to learn through interaction with toys, other children, and adults... yes. And personally I'm against using TV as an educational tool. Allowing Signing Time or something similar occasionally is ok, but kids learn so much more outside of TV and shouldn't become dependent on it. I'm not sure about the rest.

I don't like the head-on commercial because it is repetitive and boring , it also never tells what the product really does clearly.
