Watching his reaction to the Imus situation, in and of itself, does not lead to this conclusion. But read http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070414/ap_on_el_pr/on_the2008_trail_38 , and keep in mind that one of his biggest contributers is David Geffen, the head of Interscope Records, the company of Timbaland and Eminem. Should he return his donations or be labeled a hypocrite? (haha, return money, yeah right)

He's lost any chance of getting my vote. Anyone who would blindly take advice from Sharpton is not leadership material, absolutely not Presidential material. He clearly doesn't know anything about Imus other than one quote on one show, but still joins the lynch mob. Is this how he would make decisions as President?

He's a spineless pandering politician

And he says he is a 'free speech' advocate? In what conditions? Only rich upper class speech?

And he doesn't know anything about hiphop or urban culture to be preaching about it. He needs to stop preaching from his mountain about issues he doesn't know anything about. Scrapping the 1st amendment and banning offensive speech won't make problems go away. What a phony!!!

No - I completely agree with him....

And imagine how horrible this country would be if our politicians were so easily payed off to say what their contributors wanted...

Did it ever occur to you that Interscope Records is also home to the most Anti-republican bands out there?
(as well as some conservative Christian artists)

Your link from Eminem to Interscope to David Geffen to Barrack Obama to Imus is really stretching it....
You can make a quicker connection between Bush and Bin Laden...

The republicans are criticizing Imus too... it's unfair of the media to question Obama about Imus anyway... there is no reason for it... that's just media sponsored racism...

That's like asking if Wal-Mart should refuse to accept money from anyone with a criminal past! They'd go out of business. No one can have true peace of mind as to the origins of their money & what it was affiliated with BEFORE it came into their hands. Obama is a Politician & so far, he has followed all the rules that are required of him. I wouldn't call him a hypocrite, he's just inexperienced in things like this. He's a mixed race person, so he's stuck in the middle, whether he likes it or not. Besides, I'm sure the IRS will take care of any of these players who think money is everything. They have a way of dealing with white boys with big heads! A known fact & NOT a racist remark, & I don't want to hear it from all you people who don't think that's a nice thing to say....Just replace the word white with taxpayer & it becomes a universal statement!

Of course he is a hypocrite....he does one thing, demands another, and says he is for a third. He has never promoted anything in his life, and takes advice from anyone and everyone, so he can "make it" in his political career. He cites that Imus needed to go for his comments, but have you heard what singer is his daughters favourite singers? Snoop Dog and Akon. What a hypocrite, letting in the lyrics of those two artists around his children in his home is a hypocritical to any stand on racism he could ever make, I don't care if he is bi-racial.
