My boyfriend leaves his computer at his home, where another family lives. 2 times now, all of his music and pictures from the "My Documents" folder have been completely deleted. I'm semi-computer inclined, but I simply cannot figure out where everything went, or if he accidently somehow deleted it... help :-(

is it his computer? do other people have access to it? does he leave it on? someone's deleting it manually.

check the recycling bin on your desktop, deleted files are still stored there until you empty the bin. If it is not there then it is deleted for good and the only way to get it back would be by spending hundreds of dollars for hard drive recovery

Check the USER PROFILES in the Control Panel, may be under different USER
