Have I ever done it to someone ELSE? Then the answer is no.
I did have it done to me, once, when I was maybe 5 or 6 years old. As you may guess, it was my mom who did it. And let's just say she had an excellent reason for doing it. All these years later, I still remember the exact phrase I said that got me into trouble.
I'm afraid I can't repeat it here, but I do sometimes still use it.

My teacher in kindergarden did it to me cause i say "carajo" something like "god damn it", so she took me to the bathroom and started washing my mouth with soap, I wanted to swallow the water and soap cause tasted good, she started cracking up. I was like 3 1/2 then, now i say lots of bad words......:P
Notice how it is done, it could be very mean and traumatic for some kids, for me it wasn't because my teacher was very gentle and she was like kind of joking trying to show me her point.
Just to be on the safe side, don't do it. Use communication.

Ok, one time when I was maybe 14 years old, my 10 year old sister called me the B word. I grabbed a bar of soap and chased her down, wrestled her and couldn't get it in her mouth. I gave up and grabbed a bottle of dish soap and told her that it would really be much easier if she just opened up. Then I squirted her face and got it in her eye on accident, so I told her she was going to go blind.

My mom held my mouth open and squirted like a cup of dish soap in my mouth(literally) when I was like 10. And then I was crying, cause it was like drinking a glass of milk except it was dish soap and then she offered me a glass of water. It's like that'll just make it worse, like omg. And I was crying and it was really bad and mean. I'll never do that to my kids.
and all I'd done was call my stepdad a drunk idiot, because he grabbed me by my hair and slammed me against the wall. Oh, what I'd do to relive my childhood. *sarcasm*

Sure have. I have 3 kids and the one sure knows not to bite or say cuss words anymore. And for the person who says its poison... well maybe so but only if they swallow. And most reflexes are to spit when somethings nasty.
