A co-worker told me, "You know, you really should get back in school." I told her, "At the rate I could take classes, it would take me 10 years to graduate."
She said, "What will you be doing in 10 years anyway?"
I was wrong. It only took me 8 years, and I bought her lunch when I graduated and reminded her of that conversation.

When I was younger, I had teachers at school that probably impacted more than anyone I have ever met.
They told me:
"In life, the first thing you must do is decide what you really want. Weigh the costs and the results. Are the results worthy of the costs? Then make up your mind completely and go after your goal with all your might."
"Never let your head hang down. Never give up and sit down and grieve. Find another way. And don't pray when it rains if you don't pray when the sun shines."
"Never let today's disappointments overshadow tomorrow's dreams."
And even 10 years later, I still remember what they told me.

many people have impacted by decisions in life, and i think of it as a blessing when they do. my example was when i met my partner, and they told me i was hurting them when i acted a certain way. from that point on i changed my behavior because i cared. that behavior has stuck with me for the last 7 years :)

My sister once told me if someone loves you, it doesn't matter if you live in a cave or a mansion.
They will love you for the person you are,not where you live. I finally discovered how true that is.

My Mom. Before she died she always told me to never give up on myself and follow my dreams. I miss that.
