fake all the way but you have to have good timing and be in good shape or you could get hurt. I cant believe the number of people that believe that stuff.

Wrestling is real and fake. It is real because they actually get hit with the moves. It is fake because there is a script and a winner picked out in advance.

There are two types of wrestling: Olypic Wrestling and staged wrestling.
Olympic wrestling is usually not promoted as well in the media, whereas staged wrestling is widely advertised by the media.
One of the most recent staged wrestling match was the Battle of the Billionaires, a promotionalstunt which would make Donald Trump shave his head if his represenative won, in the end, his head wasn't shaved.

That depends on the type of wrestling you're referring to. Professional wrestling is fake. When students in elementary and high school wrestle...it's for real.

Fake....in the sense it is scripted like a action movie
fake in the sense...the steel chair aren't made of steel
real in the sense that people get real injuries..not just scripted ones
real in the sense that the moves do actually hurt....some don't
part are real and parts are fake.....
most planned out..so not real like a boxing match

some people say its fake, because some of the "moves" look fake. but, the wrestlers are trained to learn how to have maximum impact on their opponent, without sending them to the hospital. i mean, in reality, if it were "real", every match would end up with one or both men in the hospital. but, i have been to a live WWE show myself, and let me tell you, when a wrestler dosent put his arms up in time to block a steel chair to the head, the effects are real! i saw a wrestler get hit in the back of the head with a steel chair, and it took him twenty minutes to regain consciousness! i think it is planned out to an extent, which dosent really make it fake, but for the most part, its all real!

It is a well choriographed event. The physical aspect of wrestling is very demanding and you can not take that away from them. But you have to know that some of the things that you see them do to each other, if real, would hospitalize someone for a long time.

Certainly fake, if some moves are actually performed, it could kill a person. Even if Wrestling was real, it is totally stupid because all it teaches is that violence can settle trash talking.

College and High School wrestling is real. The stuff they have in bars where the guys are wearing capes and feather boas is fake. A lot of it is just for entertainment, like a show or something.

Well I'm not to sure.............I have heard that the only real thing about wrestling is when they are actually wrestling...........and all of the feuds and talking is staged. So I guess you could say the vast majority of it is fake.
