Should the BSU Broncos go to the National Championship if they keep playing like they did in the 2007 Fiesta Bowl

I think their record should have warranted them a shot at the National Championship this past season. I think that the performance of teams like Boise State should really make the NCAA think about the possibility of a playoff system.

Well they were the only team without any losses, I think that justifies them getting a chance to prove they are worth being undefeated. They may not have been the best team, but who cares, NCAA needs a playoff to give schools like BSU a chance to play in a national championship game.

Not unless they play a different schedule than they did last year. Their conference schedule is weak, their out of conference schedule is weak. Sure they barely beat a so-so Oklahoma team in the Fiesta Bowl and you want a National Championship shot? It will never happen as long as they play who they play during the season, definitely not a championship kind of schedule.

I say yes as long as they go undefeated. They have no room for error being in a non major conference. They are definately a fun team to watch. But in America, the rich get richer and the poor get poorer, so, I dont see the voters putting them in a position to play for the National Championship, when that money could go to a major conference.

No, beacuse they play in the WAC....If they played in a power conference and ran the table, then absolutely...I think this years game was the match up that should have been, unfortuanetely, the Buckeyes had an off day. I still believe they are better than that game showed, and the BCS got it right this time, even though a playoff is really what we need!

yes they SHOULD. I thought that they SHOULD have last year. Do I think that they WILL. No. this is what is wrong with the BCS it sets it up so that only major football programs such as notre dame and flordia can make it to the national championship. I think that the BCS needs to have a playoff so that mid majors can have a chance to win a national championship.

They should have went last year.

And if they keep playing like they did in that game, they're going to get beat. They wore them down quickly, that doesn't happen to every team as easy.

But if they continue to go out and play as well as they did throughout the season, then yeah, they'll be there.

Maybe they'll still be that way when.. well if i go play for them.. but I'm leaning towards Hawaii's scholarship.

Go Broncs though. Gotta love the blue field.

Not until they start playing some good teams in their non-conference schedule.
They used a trick play to beat a OU team that was having a down year. We'll have to wait and see how they do this year but my money's on back to reality for the Broncho's.

Don't know, but as impressed as I was with their plays, prowess , and daring against Oklahoma. It was Oklahoma they beat. Oklahoma had a bad year last year. I believe that they should get more of a chance to play in the NC, but realistically it does not seem as though they would do anything but get pounded.
