You need to remove the strainer, you will find more glass pieces in it. The spray arms also need to be removed and cleaned. (coat hanger) Use a small paint brush to brush the areas to find the glass pieces. There is a probability that glass is also in the pump

The humming sound means the motor that normally turns the pump that sprays the water out the post and pumps the water out the drain, is not turning. It's most likely got a large chunk of glass wedged in one of the vanes of the fan. The only way to access the drain area is to completely dissassemble the center filter and post in the bottom and get a wet pickup shop vac to suction out what ever got stuck in there. Be very careful about sticking fingers in there as the glass particles can be very sharp. If you can get it all out, then put it back together and try it. If it still doesn't turn, you'll need to dissassemble it again and then pull the unit out from under the counter and turn it over, so you can remove the motor assembly. You can then SEE as well as feel, to tell if there's more in the drain area. Check the motor to see if it turns freely and then test it out again.

Every dishwasher has a small grinder, so it is called. Actually it is usually a plate with small holes in it, and an arm of some kind that pushes soft particles through the holes. If the glass made it through this plate and did stop the motor, then you will probably want to replace the pump and motor. It is sold as an assembly, one piece. If it is not pumping then it is stuck. buying a pump is the best way unless you cannot afford one then you can remove the pump and try to free it up. Most likely you will be buying a pump and motor assy. Good luck.
