i have a 98 pathfinder which we purchased. it has remote start installed on it, the remote on my keys isn't working, the battery in the keychain is good, so i am looking to find how you program these things. if anyone knows the steps to getting it working i would greatly appreciate it.

Maybe you'll need to find out wwho manufactured the remote starter.
Manufacter, model, serial number.
Are there any stickers on the remote?

IF it is a factory installed unit, the dealer can re-program it. It may be the sending unit under the dash, or wherever it is. They do go bad. Some also have sensors that go bad

if it has a computer chip in it it has to also be programed at the dealer im not sure if yours does or not call them they will tell u on the phone for free.
