I'm a Giants fan, so I would have started by NOT re-signing Bonds. I also would not have paid as much as they did for Zito. I would not have signed Klesko. Dave Roberts was a good pick-up, so was Mark Sweeny to come off the bench. A power hitting 1st baseman should have been a priority, along with a closer. After that, they could have gotten a 4th and 5th starter through free agency.

Well, being a White Sox fan, I'm happy that Kenny Williams put together the 2005 champs, but they gave away too much pitching in the off-season and didn't pick up a decent CF to replace the dreadful hitting of Brian Anderson. If anything, the trade with Philadelphia that gave the Phils Freddy Garcia should have brought Aaron Rowand back to the South Side.

Damn that is hard because I am a Pirates fan. First off I would have broken the bank for someone like Lilly or Meche or Matsuzaka. Then I wouldve gotten a better outfielder than nady. He is just terrible. Their catcher is also terrible. Ive never even heard of the guy. Pirates have too many holes though.

If I were the Bengals' GM, I would have done a lot. I would realize that a lot of our strong defensive players have signed with other teams, so we need to step it up in the free agency market and sign some defensive players. The offense is set, can't get much better, but the defense has decreased a lot. We need to search for more defensive players.

I would be the GM of two teams Rangers/Astro's

Rangers:

Wouldnt of signed Lofton

Wouldnt of signed Cattalanato

Would of went after Pitching instead of trying to find pitching from the inside!

Astros:

Would not of offered Willy T to the Rockies

Would not of signed W.Williams

Would of went after some pitching in the offseason

Would NOT of offered C.Lee 10yr/$100mil Contract

Signed a bigger bat in the lineup but we will see next year. Walt Jocketty is the best GM out there but the owners won't ever let him spend a little money. Go Cards!
