Thank you so much for not impeaching our President.

*NEWSFLASH* YOU can't impeach a President just because you don't like him. He hasn't done any impeachable offenses.

Now Thank me for educating you today!

!. The Democrats didn't make any such promise.
2. Democrats promised not to spend time and money
with subpoena issuing, but they've done nothing but
witch hunt since they took majority of the House.
3. There's no grounds for impeachment so far, much
to Democrats dismay.
4. Democrats have tried to impeach Bush, Cheney,
Gonzalez, Rice, Libby, and any others they could
drum up a case for. Wasn't successful.

For some reason, the phrase "dumb as a post" springs to mind as I read your question. The wonderful, swell, kindly, forgiving Democrats have promised not to impeach because THEY CAN'T. Bush hasn't committed an illegal act.

Notice that all Democrats are doing right now is digging and throwing up dust. That's all they've been doing since the election--searching for places to kick up dust. They know they'll never strike gold.

Politicians [many Repub, many Dem] are disgusting. They play a power game. And they are the only winners.

Why should we thank someone for something they said was never going to happen...... well before the election even happened?

In October of 2006 Nancy Pelosi went on national television and said Impeachment was off the table if Democrat won a majority.
Did you miss that or didn't you listen ?

I look certainly one of purely some severe solutions to this question. yet... no, they gained't, i think of. Clinton's approval score honestly greater as a effect of the impeachment complaints, and that i think of Democrats will take that to coronary heart. perhaps the two circumstances are not parallel (I actually think of they are actually not), yet i'm especially particular the Democratic occasion is greater fascinated in attempting to get the country lower back on a song it has a similar opinion with than in being vindictive in the direction of Bush. you could wager, nevertheless, that there will be investigatory committees in congress, and perhaps they're going to curtail various the semi-legal events pursued via the administrative branch.

It is because they stated during the campaign that they would impeach the president. Now in elected there is nothing to impeach the president for. Perfect example of how the Democrats will say anything to get elected.

You get my vote for the moronic question of the day. You cannot impeach without grounds for impeachment. The Dems didn't give the POTUS a pass. There are no grounds for impeachment. Take a civics class.

As others have said, there is no case, and no evidence. Also, IF he deserves (BIG IF) to be impeached and the Congress promised not to, why would I thank them? I am loyal full heartedly to the US, but that does not mean I stand behind my leader if he has done something bad enough to be impeached over.

No need to thank someone for not doing something that they know they could never do. The reason they haven't started impeachment proceedings isn't because of kindness and generosity, its because there wouldn't be enough support, and there are no charges that would actually stick. There are no clear impeachable offenses. And they know, too, that if they go after the President, they'll have to go after every last one that voted for the war - including some of themselves.

Yo dumbo-they have no legal reason to impeach. They did not forgive sh*t.There would be an impeachment blood bath if the dems could legally do it. See what they did to one of their own, good old Imus, they threw him under the bus! Liberals eat their kids if it advances their agenda.Wake up and grow up!

So they did us a favor, did they? I noticed they forgot to mention there wasn't any impeachable offense.

Learn the Constitution, because before this administration is finished, some Congress people might actually get impeached.
