a few months ago, i had my hair down and i had a hoodie on, and she came to my school, and saw me like that, and she drove me home, and she started to threaten me.
examples:breaking my neck;breaking my spine;you get the point.
so we get home, but i'm not really scared, i change, and my mom get a 3x12 or something like that, because it was a piece of plywood.and then she started to beat me with it, while she was threatening to kill me.she gave me a "chance" to call the cops, but i didn't because i thought she was going to have a little mercy.and i finally said that i would leave the house, and i did. I had to go back, and i regret it a lot. i had welts on my back and arms, bruises on the entirety of my body, and some parts of my leg were slightly bleeding now, she's saying a lot of crap, and i'm getting depressed a lot lately, about every day
is this child abuse, and what should I do about it?

Definitely, there is a child abuse and you must report it. Have a medical examination to prove that you sustained injuries.

thank you 'undercover' for pointing this out this seems like it is a set up like I already got upset about isn't it? This isn't funny because it causes mass hysteria and creates the atmosphere of child abuse mongering which isn't funny either.
These kids often get restrained and hurt and drugged once they get into these systems. I have seen a true harry potter he was being restrained because he didn't want to have to live where the system wanted him to and was acting out and they restrained him and bashed his head into the ground and now he has a scar on it for life. That is real, if I say it you can believe it.
The kids that get into this system and cry to go home will be drugged to keep them quite this is a fact.
So yes this is definitely child abuse and must be stopped and no this is not tolerable and this should be reported to someone that can help you, but please don't start the witchhunting due to this.
This kind of stuff isn't funny and I can't believe with all the responses you got just here that if it was actually true and you told three people no one could or would do anything about it?
I would be careful though, Timothy told and they force treated him and not his parents and he hanged himself because of it. Now they have Timothy's law so that they can treat even more kids. Isn't that something?

Yeah. I'd say that's child abuse. You need to get a hold of Child Protection Services, and tell them what happened. If you have any witnesses, ask if they will help you with a report. Also anyone who has seen your injuries can be a witness. You need to be somewhere safe. I'm not saying you should run away, because that'll cause you more trouble.

YES!!!! For the love of god, call the police and tell them what happened. If you have been beaten so bad that you have welts and bleeding you need to leave that situation immediately. Yes, your mother (I presume) will get into trouble, but far less trouble than if you let it go on, because it does NOT get better when you let someone get away with it.

It consider either one of them want extra awareness, animal abuse, and youngster abuse. In my opinion they're each as dangerous a each and every different. No dwelling creature will have to pass via the abuse a few pass via.

HOW OLD ARE YOU??? My God.....yes that is child abuse. Is she threatening you right now??? If she is, I would call the cops! It sounds like she about on the verge of doing this again. If she touches you, you call the police immediately! Don't give her another chance to beat you up like that. She should be in jail. Good luck sweetie!!!

You poor thing . Yes your mother is out of control youshould have told someone or gone to the police she has no right to beat you like that what is wrong with her ? I don't care what you did there is a right way to punish you without leaving you bloody and whelped up get pictures and take them to the authourties I m sorry she needs locked up. Yes, beating you with a piece of plywood that leaves welts is child abuse in any state.

Yes, that definitely constitutes abuse.
You can call the police or tell a teacher or counselor at school. They are required by law to contact the police.
