Most people do not care about any thing but themselves. And yes it is difficult to be with uncaring people. I have eliminated many people from my life because they were unsympathetic to me. I was there for them but they were never there for me. Better off alone than continuously hurt by others.

Did you say something? Oh sorry! What was the question again?
You should try to be happy and only talk about your problem to a therapist. People will listen only so long to one persons problems before they just stop caring. The people who have the least problems get the most attention when something goes wrong. This is probably not what you wanted to hear but it's true. Try your best to be happy most of the time and when something goes wrong you will get the attention you need.

Better to unload on a therapist, someone who is getting paid.
People in general just talk about you when you confide, and try to find answers.
Better to focus on what you have, and be thankful rather than complain about what you don't have.
Do some praying. God knows what your probs are. He will help you. He helped me. I was in a relationship for 10 years then found out the guy was a sex addicit. I went to Easter sunrise service last Sunday. This week I met a great guy.
I'm doing a lot better. I'm listening to music now that I have not listened to in 8 months.
God made ya, and knew what was going to happen to you before you were born. You have a guardian angel like it or not. They watch you and call God on the heaven cell phone, and tell him what up. He tells them where to steer you out of harms way man.

We have a lot of poor listeners in our world! Often, people hear you, but you remind them of something in THEIR life that is similar. They have never been listened to either and think that now is their opportunity to share. Little do they know, that they have completely ignored your pain! It is very frustrating. It's hard to say, "Hey, wait a minute, don't talk about yourself, okay?"
It might be a good idea to start a conversation (around your problem) to say, "I have this thing going on and every-time I tell anyone about it, they start talking about themselves!" It's possible that they will listen a little more closely. :-]
We are still little children in adult bodies...we are often selfish and self centered, we want attention.
If we can forgive others, listen to them a little better, perhaps they will return the favor. It's worth a try.

Unfortunately people have become so self absorbed these days, that they forget there are others out there with real problems too.
I hate it when you are talking to someone and you dont even get a chance to finish what you are saying coz they go off and blab about their own problems and forget what you just said...so annoying.
I reckon ppl have forgetten how to listen..they just hear it but dont actually listen.

Yeah it sucks. I just think the people in the world today are way too self absorbed if you ask me. It is one thing to love yourself and care about your well being, but when it prevents you from being a good person and caring about others, well then that is a problem. Plain and simple most people in the world today care about 1 thing...........Themselves and that is it.

Yes, but that's the way it is. We can hear about someone problem and think boy if they had my problems they wouldn't be complaining, but to them their problem is just as bad. Actually some don't realize how good they do have it, and I am the first to admit I feel sorry for myself sometimes, but if we have good health, job, and family we should be happy.

It is not that there is worse problems, people are just trying to comfort you by saying that. It does get annoying at times, but we are all humans, they do have to invent a new line.
Problems are problems and at times they can't be measured, they are just that PROBLEMS.
Did you know we create our own problems? yes, we do
Good Luck!
